How to Enable Passkeys for Your Amazon Account#
Enabling a passkey for your Amazon account can provide an additional layer of security. Here are step-by-step instructions on how to do it.
Download Passkeys App
Before you can set up a passkey for your Amazon account, you'll need to download the Passkeys App from the Apple App Store on your phone. You can also click the button below to download it Download on the App Store.
Open Your Amazon Account Settings
Open the Amazon app and tap the Account icon at the bottom of the screen. At the top of the page, select Account, then scroll down and tap Login & security.
Open Your Amazon Passkey Settings
In the Passkeys section, tap Set up, then tap Set up again to continue.
Verify Your Account
When prompted, select Add Passkey. The Passkeys App will launch. Verify your identity using your Passkeys App password, Face ID, or Touch ID to complete the setup.
Set & Save Your Passkey
Once verification is complete, your passkey will appear in the Amazon Passkeys section. Amazon will also be listed in your Passkeys App.
