How to Enable Passkeys for Your TikTok Account#
Enabling a passkey for your TikTok account can provide an additional layer of security. Here are step-by-step instructions on how to do it.
Download Passkeys App
Before you can set up a passkey for your TikTok account, you'll need to download the Passkeys App from the Apple App Store on your phone. You can also click the button below to download it Download on the App Store.
Open Your TikTok Profile Settings
Open the TikTok app and go to your profile. Tap the menu icon in the top right corner, then select Settings and privacy.
Open Your TikTok Security Settings
Tap Security & permissions, then select Security checkup.
Open Your TikTok Passkey Settings
In the Security checkup section, tap Passkey to continue.
Verify & Create Your Passkey
Tap Create passkey, then select Add Passkey. The Passkeys App will launch. Verify your identity using your Passkeys App password, Face ID, or Touch ID. The setup will complete automatically.
Confirm Your Passkey
The TikTok app may return to the main screen. If you go back to the Security checkup section, the Passkey option should now appear as active. Your TikTok passkey will also be listed inside the Passkeys App.
